Four or More

Group travel · parties of 4 or more

Travel better when there's four or more.

The group rates that start before ten people are mostly rooms and packages — five or six at a time. Airline desks usually wait for ten seats. We sort the published programs so a family of eight doesn't chase a fare that was never going to discount.

Start with rooms. Airline desks wait for ten.

Four travelers can absolutely take a trip together. Published group-room programs usually begin at five or six rooms, which is often eight to twelve people sharing. Parties of four to nine should buy airline seats as individual tickets — Southwest says so directly, and JetBlue does not discount group fares at all. United's exception is narrow: sports teams of six or more, same flight, United metal, U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Where to look

Four ways a group actually books

Starts at 5–6 rooms

Package and all-inclusive programs worth opening first

Minimums and discounts below are summaries of what each brand published, checked October 2, 2026. They are not Four or More rates. Blackout dates, room categories, and booking windows change — the official page wins.

Lounge chairs facing the ocean at a beach resort

From 5 rooms

Funjet / Apple Vacations GroupEase

The package desk that starts smallest. GroupEase is built for five rooms and up; a traditional contracted group starts at ten.

Before you count on it. A limited-time Caribbean group credit on the same page had a contract window through July 31, 2026. Do not count on expired credits — read the live offer.

Overwater bungalows in clear tropical water

Deposit at 5 rooms

Sandals Group Specials

Adults-only all-inclusive groups. The page headlines a 5-room deposit, a seasonal free-room credit at 6 or 10 rooms, and a percent-off for contracted groups of 10 or more.

Before you count on it. The percent-off is not an always-on rate. Overwater rooms and several named categories are excluded. Confirm the open window on the Sandals page before you quote 13% or 15% to the group.

Turquoise water meeting a white sand beach

Deposit at 5 rooms

Beaches Group Specials

The family all-inclusive version of the Sandals group sheet: same deposit and free-room structure, plus kid-friendly resorts and a few group types of their own.

Before you count on it. Treat the percentage the same way as Sandals — date-locked, category-locked, and easy to misquote after the booking window closes.

A resort pool lined with palms

6, 8, or 10 rooms by season

Hyatt Inclusive Collection — Social Stays That Pay

Hyatt’s all-inclusive social-group offer, published on the Secrets Resorts site. The free-room ratio changes with the season. This is not their meetings-and-incentives contract.

Before you count on it. If your dates cross two seasons, Hyatt uses the peak arrival day. Holiday blackouts apply and vary by resort. Meetings and incentives groups are not eligible.

Airline group desks, with the caveat up front

United, Southwest, Delta, American, Alaska, and Frontier publish group products at ten passengers (Alaska's separate-city code wants twenty; United sports can start at six). JetBlue will hold a group of ten and states that it does not discount group fares.

How a quote works

Four steps, no booking engine

  1. 01

    Tell us the group

Party size, dates, departure airport, destination, and whether you want rooms, a package, or seats.

  2. 02

    Match the published minimum

Five or six rooms first. Hotel instant-book around nine to twenty-five. Flights at ten seats.

  3. 03

Open the brand, or send the quote

You book with them. We do not take payment and we do not invent a discount.

  4. 04

    Follow-up when email is live

Today the form confirms on screen and logs the request, ready for a CRM webhook.

Trip shapes, not reviews

The groups this is for

Examples of how the published minimums land. These are not testimonials and not bookings we are claiming.

Friends walking together along a sunny coast

A reunion in Mexico

Eight adults, five rooms

This is GroupEase and the Sandals or Beaches 5-room deposit — not a United group fare. Ten seats is a different trip.

Turquoise water meeting a white sand beach

Beaches or Sandals

Twelve rooms for a wedding

Now the free-room credit math applies, and a percent-off only if that brand’s contract window is actually open.

A group hiking a mountain trail

Eighteen people

A club team on one flight

This is airline-desk territory. United’s sports exception can start at six seats, and only for qualifying team travel.

A canoe on a calm alpine lake

Too small for most group rates

Six people, three rooms

Four or more travelers is our audience. Published room programs still usually want five or six rooms. Book normally until the block is big enough.

Gear for the group

Pack once, for everybody

Luggage, packing cubes, and group organizers. These open Amazon search results. They are not group rates.

As an Amazon Associate, Four or More earns from qualifying purchases.
